Analog Thoughts

This page was designed to contain an overview of this Web site, to offer a few clever observations about accidental expertise, and provide some astute ruminations about for why it is so important for us to cultivate analog thinking in a digital age. Some day, it even might.

That's the grand plan, anyhow, but like all grand plans, it's entirely a matter of time, time, time. Until then, this spare text will have to suffice to introduce readers ever-so-briefly to accidentalexpert.com.

The channels at the right represent the site's departments, as they are presently conceived.

Most of the current action on the site is in the Columns section, where a catalog of my writings published under the Accidental Expert byline are posted. The plan is to reprint all of my columns here that are unavailable elsewhere on the Web. I'm currently working through a few years of backlog -- more will appear regularly.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you will do so again soon. Comments are always welcomed, and naturally, if you'd like to see my work appear in your publication, I'd be especially happy to hear from you.
